Each session helped participants strengthen the building blocks of their startup journey, with key takeaways they’ll carry forward well beyond the bootcamp.

This event, organized for MeitY and SARTHI startups, along with 100+ MITSC Agropreneurs and Students, provided crucial knowledge on protecting innovations and building robust IPR strategies for business growth

The event commenced on a high note with an opening session on the MeitY GENESIS Program, where AIC-ADT Baramati Foundation unveiled an overview of the program, followed by thrilling pitches from promising startups.

During this program, they will participate in a series of expert-led sessions designed to build strong business foundations and equip them with the essential skills to thrive in the startup world.

In the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship, AIC-ADT Baramati Foundation is thrilled to present the Agri Startups Innovation Zone at the exhibition, where startups incubated at AIC-ADT Baramati will be showcasing their groundbreaking solutions to over 200,000 farmers in attendance.

AIC-ADT Baramati Foundation started with an engaging orientation session, setting the stage for an incredible 10-day bootcamp. AIC-ADT staff provided a sneak peek into the upcoming sessions and activities, ensuring our fellows are geared up for a knowledge-packed experience.

We have PUM Senior Experts, Mick Walvisch RM and Henk ter Stege, guiding us through this transformative experience.

This capacity-building initiative is part of the Triangular Cooperation (TrC) between India, Germany, and Malawi, supported by the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), GIZ India, GIZ Malawi, and Atal Innovation Mission.The TrC initiative aims to: 1.Develop sustainable incubators to support women in agriculture 2.Enable millet processing for livelihood generation 3.Strengthen institutional capacities in resilient agricultural practices 4.Foster South-South cooperation through knowledge and technology exchange

Delegates had the opportunity to witness firsthand how millets are transformed into market-ready products through advanced primary and secondary processing techniques. They engaged in live demonstrations of these processes and actively participated in the preparation of millet-based products. We were also delighted to welcome Mr. Shankar Kumar from GIZ India, who visited and interacted with the delegates during the training program. The day concluded with an insightful visit to Krishi Vigyan Kendra, featuring the Indo-Dutch Centre of Excellence on Vegetables, the Dairy Farm, and the cutting-edge AI in Sugarcane Project—showcasing innovation at its finest.

In the second half, the team embarked on an exposure visit to Purandar Highlands Farmer Producer Company Limited, exploring innovative practices in Fruits and Vegetables Value Addition and Marketing Linkages. From farm to market, the delegates witnessed how FPOs empower local farmers and add value to fresh produce for better returns.
